AUTOMATIC FEATURES: Our cervical and lumbar power-traction is accomplished using multiple actuator motors. The auto-cycling features are computer controlled and monitored. Changes can be made on-the-fly using the touch screen and/or foot pedals. The power traction treatment can be reported using either the 97012 mechanical traction procedure code, or the S9090 decompression procedure code.
MANUAL FEATURES: The articulating postural positioning features represent a “doctor” or “therapist” professional component. That is why they are reported using a separate and distinct 97110 CPT code (not the traction or decompression codes). Articulating movements are manually controlled. Articulations include rotation, anterior and posterior flexion-extension and lateral flexions. Positional changes may be made before, during or after a session.
There has never been a therapeutic treatment instrument like the Antalgic-Trak. It makes everything else obsolete.
